Brief E-mail

Dividing Line

Henny Johnsen, the former owner of Sidetrack got a dedicated e-mail machine to connect to her phone line.
It works although when she sent this she obviously wasn't sure of that. I'm wondering why no one in this
group has recommended this book before now.

"Have not tried E-mailing you before and I don't have much faith in this machine. One little thing can stop
the transfer. However I think I have you right so will continue. This is an entry for Reading.

" I just did a book report for a group I belong to here in Arizona on Aldo Leopold's,
A Sand County Almanac. It is an old book having been published first in 1949. However
it still sells 20,000 to 30,000 copies every year. I'm sure you must have it. It has wonderful,
almost poetic accounts, of what goes on in his dry county of Wisconsin each month.
He is basically a forester and scientist with a keen eye and very loving approach to all of
nature. The last section of the book dwells on the problems of preserving wild places.

"Cheers, Henny"

Henny, thanks for the recommendation of this classic. I haven't read it, but doing so while
sitting on the shore of Little Blake Lake would certainly be appropriate. You may
be one of those people who will continue to rely on the paper copies of Reading even if you
do get more used to the electronic media. Like me, you may harbor a nostalgic fondness for
things written on paper.

Write Tell a little bit of the world what you think.
