In July 2001, David astounded Nancy when he replied to her request to carry some things down to the bedroom. "But Mom, I only have two hands and one of them is full."

Nancy's jaw dropped and David slapped his forehead with the heel of his hand as they realized what he'd said.

It was so like a scene from one of our favorite comic strips, "Zits."

Nancy e-mailed a description of the episode to the creators of Zits. One of them responded with a thank you and the comment that he'd put the story in the idea file.
