Saint Andrew is the patron saint of:
Saint Andrew was one of the first, if not the first Apostle. His brother was Simon called Peter. It was the brothers, Andrew and Peter, to whom Jesus was referring when he said "Come with Me, and I will make you fishers of men". Also, it was Andrew that pointed out the boy with the loaves and fish when Jesus fed the five thousand. He was martyred on an X shaped cross which since has become know as Saint Andrew's cross.
