After a September 2003 workshop on Pastoral Council structure and responsibilities, five working commissions of the council were formed. Many of the ministries and activities that bring life to the five commissions are alive and vibrant within our parish; others need new energy and direction. Thus, by establishing the commissions within the pastoral council, we have a means and structure to guide and direct the very broad aspects and needs that make up our parish ministries and activities.

As you review the list below, I ask each of you as parishioners to consider how your interests and talents may be an asset in one or more of these areas. In fact, many of you are already sharing your time and talent in these areas and, we as a parish appreciate this commitment. With each commission, I have listed general areas of accountability, and pastoral council and parish members who have already stepped forward to lend their assistance in each specific area.
